iTech Transilvania Cluster is a Romanian IT cluster which mainly aimed to provide technical and soft-skills training for the employees of its organisations and creating a pool of trainers for the implementation of collaborative projects in the human resources field. Nowadays iTech Transilvania cluster developed a lot, becoming a reference cluster in Romania and a good practice provider.
At the beginning of 2016 iTech Transilvania Cluster was awarded with the Silver Certificate by the European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis in recognition of its’ efforts to create a collaborative environment between member companies and the quality of activities provided.
 

Services

1. Offering training services in the field of advanced technologies at affordable costs for its’ members;
2. Increasing interaction between the cluster members by optimizing the flow of communication within and outside the cluster;
3. Training of professors in universities to update and strengthen their knowledge in advanced technologies according to new trends in the field;
4. Attracting new members by strengthening and promoting national and international image of the cluster.

The objectives of iTech Transilvania cluster include:

• Identification of common actions for member companies;
• Provide trainings and assuring cost efficiency;
• Collaboration with Academia in adapting the curricula to market demands;
• Involvement in research, development and innovation projects;
• Representation and expanding international visibility of members (by attending conferences, events, fairs, exhibitions, workshops, matchmaking sessions);
• Lobby at the national authorities to promote activities of common interest for cluster’s members;
• Identify business synergies between member companies and encouraging the creation of partnerships;
• Accessing European funds through various funding programs;
• Support for start-ups;
• Initiation and development inter-cluster collaborations.
