The companies of the Canary Islands Maritime Cluster belong mainly to the marine and/or maritime industry, in the line of "Brue Growth" which the European Union promotes.

Companies have a high export and intemational component, and understand the sector and industry ship repairs, the infrastructures and maritime transport, the aquaculture, marine biotechnology, extractive fishing, nautical sports and recreation, renewable offshore energies and the auxiliary maritime services.


The Canary Islands Maritime Cluster aims to promote the development and intemational competiveness of the maritime sector in turn enhancing the entrepreneurial,  economical and social material of the Canaries through the integration, creation, strengthening and sustainability of the business and agents that are found inside the value chain of the maritime sector, promoting its international presence and increasing its technologic and innovative level, in align with the development policies and social demands.
