The Canary Islands Audiovisual Cluster is a co-operation network seeking to make the most of the synergies and potential of private companies, public institutions and research centres in order to develop, produce and distribute audiovisual works from the Canary Islands. It has more than forty members and its main goals are:

1. Promote and encourage the development of the audiovisual sector in the Canary Islands.
2. Provide greater circulation, promotion and positioning of the products and services available in the Canary Islands both in the national and international markets.
3. Foster the alliance and collaboration of companies and the Public Administration.
4. Boost technological development and innovation.
5. Encourage the audiovisual sector as a driving force for the economy, employment, cultural identity and promotion of the Canary Islands abroad.
